What Is Ball Valve Lock Overload?

 What is ball valve lock overload? Once a short circuit or overload occurs in a circuit or device, the air switch generates magnetic attraction with the coil in the circuit, opening the locking hook and disconnecting the circuit. The air switch essentially acts as a circuit breaker. At the same time, under the constraint of the locking pin and the connecting plate, the handle of the air switch on the secondary side of the substation cannot be turned upward.

As we all know, when using electricity at home, if the electric vehicle’s main power lock is turned on but the vehicle is not powered, it means the system integrates both control and various protection functions — serving as a safety warning.

In addition to completing the making and breaking of the circuit, it can also protect electrical circuits or equipment from short circuits, severe overloads, and undervoltage. When the main contact is closed through the operating mechanism, it is locked in the closed position by the locking hook. If a fault occurs in the circuit, the corresponding tripping device operates, causing the latch in the trip mechanism to release and the main contact to be opened by the spring.

Precautions for Using an Air Switch:
Ball valve lock overload refers to issues that may occur when the above mechanisms fail or are improperly installed. To address such problems, various types of air switches have been studied. By taking advantage of the air switch’s secondary side keyhole design, a locking pin and connecting plate are added to the keyhole, and a warning tag is hung on the locking pin to secure it.

The air switch, also known as an air circuit breaker, is a critical device in low-voltage power distribution networks and traction systems that integrates multiple protection functions. The tripping mechanism of the air switch is a set of linkages.

Installation Method for Air Switches:
Prepare the installation tools, turn off the main power supply, place the power distribution box on the reserved wall, neatly arrange the air switches in the slots, and then connect them after positioning. As for the installation method, a standard distribution box is not strictly required — any fixture capable of securing the air switch slots will work.
