Composition of Safety Hasp Locks

After the emergence of synthetic and fiber materials, most safety hasp locks are made using cotton, polypropylene, vinylon, and polyester through woven fabrics. Compared with natural fibers, synthetic research fiber cables are not only lightweight, high in tensile strength, impact-resistant, and wear-resistant, but also feature advantages such as corrosion resistance, mildew resistance, and insect resistance. For example, when considering a safety hasp lock, it is necessary to check its tensile strength, wear resistance, and color fastness to washing—these properties are several times higher in hemp and cotton ropes. The density of polypropylene waterproof ropes is lower than that of water, which allows them to float on the water surface. This ensures convenient, fast, and safe supply in the market.

According to manufacturing standards in China, synthetic chemical fiber ropes are categorized into three-strand, multi-core twisted ropes, and others. The usual working diameter of 3-strand cables is 4–50 mm, while that of 8-strand cables ranges between 35–120 mm.

Universal Cable Lock

Apart from ship mooring, synthetic fiber cables are widely used in transportation, industrial production, mining, sports equipment, and aquaculture. Depending on their special applications, cable cores can also include metallic or polymer materials.

We know that cable cars are operated with a safety cable lock. The cable car runs at a certain angle along tracks laid on the ground, designed to lift or release workers and transport equipment. Multi-core ropes are often used for mooring ships, requiring features such as high tensile strength, impact resistance, wear resistance, and flexibility.

With the progress of time, many products have gradually been designed into new types, including safety steel hasp locks. However, many customers are not very familiar with these products, and discussions often revolve around the new types that have appeared. To better understand safety cable locks, let us introduce this new product.

  1. At present, the lock body of safety hasp locks is made of engineering plastic and brass components. They feature impact-resistant design performance. Some customers mistakenly believe plastic is not as reliable, but in fact, student safety hasp locks with this material perform very well.

  2. The cable of safety rope locks is made of stainless steel, with a PVC outer layer that provides UV resistance, significantly extending the service life of the cable.

  3. Safety steel hasp locks come with their own locking mechanism. This makes them convenient for customers to use. A single hole can pass through one cable, while multiple holes allow for securing several cables or lock beams at once.
