How Much Do You Know About the Four Types of Circuit Breaker Locks?

There are four main types of circuit breaker locks: miniature circuit breaker locks, large circuit breaker locks, universal circuit breaker locks, and horn circuit breaker locks.

  1. Miniature Circuit Breaker Lock
Made from high-strength resin, this lock is easy to use and provides secure locking.

  2. Large Circuit Breaker Lock
This new type of large circuit breaker lock is also made from high-strength resin. It’s impact-resistant and features stainless steel teeth, making the lock more durable. It works with a wider range of circuit breakers and is designed for 380V/600V breakers, as well as breakers with handles that are 41mm and 15.8mm wide.

  3. Universal Circuit Breaker Lock
This updated model is made from a mix of steel, zinc, aluminum alloy, and high-strength nylon, offering excellent durability. Its one-piece design is easy to use, and it can be paired with both locks and cable locks. It represents the new generation of circuit breaker locks.

  4. Horn Circuit Breaker Lock
The horn-style circuit breaker lock is made from high-strength resin and features a unique shark-bill design. The teeth are mounted on stainless steel and secured with screws for a stronger grip on the breaker handle. The adjustable flanges and scales on both sides of the lock can fit various breaker handle lengths, ensuring the handle remains securely locked for added safety.
